Dr. David A. Busic serves as General Superintendent in the Church of the Nazarene, bringing decades of pastoral leadership, theological scholarship, and global ministry experience. He is a respected preacher, author, and leader committed to guiding the church in faithful discipleship and mission.

Dr. David A. Busic was elected General Superintendent in the Church of the Nazarene at the 28th General Assembly in Indianapolis, Indiana, in June 2013. Prior to his election, he served as president of Nazarene Theological Seminary beginning in 2011.
Ordained in 1991, Dr. Busic has served in pastoral ministry in Oklahoma, Kansas, and California. He was senior pastor of Vineyard Community Church (Livermore, California), Central Church (Lenexa, Kansas), and Bethany First Church (Bethany, Oklahoma). During his tenure at Bethany First, he helped establish the Swaziland Partnership in 2007 to reduce the HIV/AIDS rate and support vulnerable children in Eswatini, Africa.
Dr. Busic holds a Bachelor of Arts from Southern Nazarene University, a Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry in theology and culture from Fuller Theological Seminary. Southern Nazarene University also conferred upon him an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree.
He has served extensively in denominational leadership, including membership on the General Board and as president of the USA National Board. From 2005 to 2013, he contributed to the Board of General Superintendents’ Thought Partners, addressing critical issues facing the church.
In addition to his leadership roles, Dr. Busic has contributed to the life of the church through writing and teaching. He served as co-editor of Preacher’s Magazine and has authored several books, including The Praying Pastor: Learning to Lead from Your Knees. His preaching and leadership are widely respected throughout the church.
Dr. Busic and his wife, Christi, live in Edmond, Oklahoma. They have three grown children and eight grandchildren.

Selena Freeman brings nearly two decades of ministry experience and a passion for developing leaders and multiplying disciples. She is a co-founding pastor of The Well Church, a thriving congregation that grew from a small home gathering to more than 1,400 people.

Selena Freeman serves as the Church Multiplication Catalyst for the USA/Canada Region of the Church of the Nazarene. With 18 years of experience in youth ministry, she brings a deep passion for leadership development and disciple-making.
She is also the co-founding pastor of The Well Church, planted 10 years ago, which has grown from a small gathering in her home into a thriving congregation of more than 1,400 people. She has served the church as both Lead Pastor and Executive Pastor.
In her current role, Selena is passionate about discovering, developing, and deploying Christ-followers to make disciples, raise up leaders, and form collaborative networks that plant and multiply churches.
She considers her greatest ministry to be her family. Selena has been married to her high school sweetheart, Jon, for 30 years, and together they have three adult children, all married, and six grandchildren.

Rev. Dr. Richard E. Griffiths is a pastor, church planter, and intergenerational leader committed to helping people discover God’s call and purpose. He brings a passion for spiritual formation, cultural connection, and creating opportunities for meaningful, life-changing impact.

Rev. Dr. Richard E. Griffiths (Pastor Rich) serves as Lead Pastor of Bronx Bethany Church of the Nazarene and is the founding pastor of Vine Church of the Nazarene. Known as a cultural hybrid and intergenerational bridge builder, he is committed to helping people recognize God’s unique call on their lives and guiding organizations toward opportunities for meaningful, life-changing impact.
Pastor Rich holds a Doctor of Ministry from Nazarene Theological Seminary, a Master’s degree in New Testament Biblical Literature from Alliance Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Binghamton University. He is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene and considers it a privilege to preach holiness and share timeless perspectives on purposeful living.
In addition to his ministry work, Pastor Rich enjoys sports, music, and the arts. He is married to his wife and partner in ministry, Yanique, and together they have two children, Seth and Hannah, who bring joy and adventure to their lives.
